I can’t believe summer is already over… Every year, when Labor Day rolls around, I say exactly the same thing. Maybe one day I’ll live in California, where the summer never ends.
In the meantime, here’s some shots of my boys at the local swimming pool, and a rare couple of pictures of me too.

And now a bunch of shots I took with my good friend Brittany. Wandering around in her neighborhood with a Holga:

I recently recovered a batch of old pictures that had gone missing. It was really very exciting! And it didn’t hit me until I started writing this blog post that all four pictures were snapped using the same camera; my late father’s Pentax ME Super:

“Super”…
There’s a word you don’t see in the description of any new electronics huh? And ME right in front of it too! “ME Super! ME good photographer! ME hungry!”
Anyway, but it’s strange to think of that Pentax as having been there to take pictures of everything from when I was so young until the end of its life (with me at least) in March of 2009 when someone broke into my house and stole it.
Man I miss that camera…
Here’s a few of the shots it was responsible for. Everybody say “awwwwwwwwwww”!!

And here’s my oldest, Gabriel:

Day 9/365
Feeling kind of uninspired today…
Every now and then, I have to force myself to stop working and take a break. So I went to a movie (matinée showings rule!) that I knew my wife wouldn’t care to see. On my way home, I saw this really cool haze. Hadn’t brought my camera with me, so I went home to get it, went back out to the best spot I could find and took some shots.
This was the best of them.

And this is me of course. It’s nice to hide behind a camera
