Just look at that mathematical equation up there in the title!! Can you tell that it means Wil and Ashley are engaged?
Have you noticed this lately? Every photographer posting pictures of couples feels compelled to write some basic equation, like “Wil + Ashley = Engaged”.
Well, I decided it was time I took this to the max! So the equation goes like this:
The sum of Wil and Ashley multiplied by love minus four fifths of a carrot equals seven eights of pi to the power of four.
YEAH!!!!!!
And just for good measure I added in a Trademark and a Copyright symbol. Why?! ‘Cause I can, that’s why!! Although I’m sure this is the least likely title anyone will ever steal. In fact, go ahead and take it. Heck, I dare ya to expand on my bogus mathematical equations!
Anyway… So the point is, Wil and Ashley’s engagement session was awesome. Can’t wait to shoot their wedding!
Day 42/365
I did a couple of engagements today. I just finished Photoshopping them and it’s very late, so I apologize, but this is going to be short on text and longer on pictures.
Now that I think of it… some of you may be cheering… which really hurts my feelings…
Ok, enjoy!

Oh I have to mention something on this first shot. Yes, it’s intentionally blurry. I actually missed focus during the shoot, but I decided it might still look cool if I accentuated the blur. I like it with more blur. There’s an honest quality about it that the extra blur emphasizes.

Day 34/365
I can’t remember the last time I got this adventurous on an engagement shoot. And I don’t remember EVER shooting engagements with the bride-to-be riding in a speeding shopping cart!
This was just a lot of fun.

Day 8/365
Engagements, bridals, weddings. These are still a reality for me to earn a living. I can’t say I don’t enjoy ‘em though. Honestly, I do. Most of these couples are really quite happy, and cheesy as this may sound, their laughter really is contageous.
This shoot however, felt a bit closer to home. The couple seemed more comfortable not smiling in many of their shots compared to other couples. They reminded me of working with models.
So I went with it.
