Here’s some of my favorite stuff with Aferdit.
I’d say work has been murder lately, but it hasn’t. It’s been a bit more like continuous paradise. I’ve just been traveling a ton for work, which is amazing and exhausting at the same time.
I’m writing this from the balcony of the 16th floor in beautiful Oahu, Hawaii, overlooking crystal clear beaches and the beautiful blue pacific ocean. Here’s a shot from one of my adventures way outside of the hotel, on the north shore of the island:
I came to Hawaii directly from San Antonio:
A couple weeks before San Antonio, I was in the amazing city of Seattle:
Before Seattle, it was beautiful Los Cabos, Mexico:
Before that, Palm Springs… Before THAT, Toronto… As soon as I return from Hawaii, I’m headed to LA for the first of three times in the coming month. I’m taking one personal trip to Virginia in June. What’s in Virginia for me?… Oh, you’ll see…
The point isn’t to brag, although hey, look where I’ve been and where I’m going! But it’s to say I’m sorry, I’ve been extremely busy, and I haven’t been able to keep up with the blog or the fan page during my travels since the beginning of this year. Yes, I’m traveling to amazing locations, but I’m also working 15-hour days, sometimes more, so it’s not all fun and games.
In the end though, there’s no denying it; I’m getting to enjoy life on an incredible new level that I couldn’t have dreamed of just a short six months ago. I love, LOVE, ever minute of every trip I’ve taken so far, and I’m excited for many more to come. Later this year in fact, I’m going to the Dominican Republic! I hear the beaches there are out-of-this-world beautiful.
I love my life…
Anyway, just be patient with me. I’m still posting from time to time and I’ve got some new model stuff coming up shortly.
When I delivered their discs of pictures by hand, they invited me in for dinner with them. When their album is finalized, they’ve already invited me to another dinner and their very own Crême Brulée recipe. I’ll be bringing over some home-made tabouli.
I love my clients…
Here’s some handsomeness for ya. Yar welcome!
Here’s what my visit to New York was like when I was there for that wedding:
1. Arrive in gorgeous New York City
2. Have an ulcer two days before the wedding
3. Go to the hospital one day before the wedding
4. Heal miraculously on the wedding day (I still really don’t know how that happened)
5. Resume the painful recovery from said ulcer
Daniel & Lauren were such a pleasure to work with. Here are just a few of the many I got that day.
Wandering through my favorite city last year in May, a few days before the wedding I flew out there for, and snapping shots with the iPhone and my Holga.
3 days later, the DAY before the wedding in question, I ended up in the hospital with an incredibly painful ulcer, followed of course by a Lamborghini Gallardo sighting. Ulcers and Lamborghinis go together? I hope not…
As with any city I visit, I like to wander, enjoy, and take pictures.
